Here are the Guidelines for Use of the
FOP Condominium Association Provided Dumpster
• The dumpster is for ordinary office trash ONLY, trash must be bagged. Items such as furniture, appliances, carpeting, and construction debris are not acceptable. If you or your tenant is moving please you must make arrangements for a special trash pick up.
• Trash Rules are clearly stated on large signs on the dumpster door in two languages please make sure your cleaning staff is aware of and complies with the rules. Trash Must be bagged! Mixed paper items should be in clear plastic bags All cardboard boxes must be broken down and placed in the cardboard only container. DO NOT contaminate the cardboard dumpster with trash. There are additional dumping fee levied for contaminated containers and again unit owner will be charged those fees. Aluminum cans, plastic and glass items need to be in the blue tote. DO NOT BAG THESE ITEMS!
• Please notify the management office, 301-590-0218 when a tenant is terminating their lease.
• Should the management office need to arrange for an additional pick up due to misuse of the dumpster area, the additional costs will be charged to the offending unit owner.
Is your cleaning crew misusing this area -- maybe bringing in trash from other location sites they service, are they aware of the dumpster usage guidelines? The unit owner is responsible and it is -- The Unit Owner who will be fined for infractions!
Management continues to make every effort to identify the business(s)and/or individual(s) responsible for missuse of the dumpster and recycling bins, a fee of $500.00 will be assessed to the unit owner for each violation.
